My approach to therapy is to create a warm, curious, and accepting space where we can explore what is going on and I can assist you in applying concrete evidence-based tools and techniques that can create lasting change. I strive to meet clients where they are at and work collaboratively to create a plan so that you can live as fully as possible.
I specialize in the treatment of obsessive- compulsive disorder, hoarding disorder, anxiety disorders, and PTSD.
My specialty is in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Inference-Based Cognitive Behavior Therapy (ICBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and EMDR. In addition, I pull from many other approaches to create a personalized treatment for each person I work with.
It is important to me, to acknowledge the systems of oppression in our society including racism, sexism, transphobia, homophobia, size-ism, ableism, etc. These systems have an effect on our mental health and can not be left out of the equation of the work we will do.
I am in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Health New England, Unicare/Wellpoint, Harvard Pilgrim, Tufts, Optum Plans (UBH, United Health, etc.), Mass General Brigham ACO, MBHP, HNE Be Health, and some Medicare and Carelon plans.
I can also work with people with out of network benefits.
